Mitchell
Asare
The fighter
Mitchell Asare, known as ANANSI in the ring, has spent eight years earning his place in professional boxing; not through luck but through relentless work, discipline and an amateur career that speaks for itself. Six London titles. An international silver medal. An Elite ABA Final.
Drawing inspiration from Marvin Hagler and Triple G, his insider fighting style is explosive, troubling and difficult to answer. Mitchell, formerly ranked the amateur No.2 in England, describes he loves being a ‘lumbar jack’ for the bigger opponent, “chopping down trees” he confidently exclaims. His coach and mentor Chris Hall is widely regarded in the amateur and professional boxing circles, Chris is his source of direction in and out the ring. Mitchell describes Chris as a “father figure in his life”.
With a genuine desire to shake up the light weight boxing division in the UK, he steps into a new chapter. Everything that came before was training. This is the beginning.
